Fairy Bear

I've been seriously neglecting this blog, and since I've started a book blog, I thought it was a good time to update this one.  Its been awhile since I've done any sewing, but I did make this a couple of months ago for my neice because she was jealous of the bear I made for my grandmother for xmas.

Sadly, the pictures really couldn't capture the stitch work that i did on the wings.  I LOVE doing detail stitches on things, and even though I was almost late finishing this bear for her bday because of it, I just had to add some to her teddy bear, cause I thought it made it look a bit more like a fairy.

    hey! i love bears - i collect stuff toys, i have a collection of it at home (bears and stuffed animals) and my favorite is teddy bears!! and wow! these are great! i love the wings! that's a cute bear - love the color!

    oh btw, thanks for wishing me luck for the Anita Blake challenge. I havent started picking up Anita books again but i think i'll be ready after a month <--- been crazy busy at work! I'm a new follower and i look forward to seeing more bear posts here!
